I have loved birds since I was a young girl and fell in love with scissor tailed flycatchers in Oklahoma. Would love to win a copy of this book!

Audubon's Aviary
As an artist and bird lover, Audubon continues to inspire my drawings, paintings and photographs of avian species. I can only imitate his detailed style, never match it, but will continue to be awe-inspired by all that he accomplished, and how his legacy lives on today.

My 9 year-old granddaughter
My 9 year-old granddaughter hopes to become an ornithologist. She looks at the magazine every month with me. This book would be a treasure for her.

Great book!
How beautiful! And how interesting it would be to learn the story behind the paintings. Usually one considers them in isolation.

Audubon Contest
I've commented before but I don't see my comment. So I'll give it another go. I would very much love to win this book. I love Audubon's artistry and I love the beauty and grace of the birds. I've started birding in November 2010 when I saw a Peregrine Falcon resting in a small tree in the city of Milwaukee, WI. He was striking, regal, and absolutely gorgeous. This book would be a wonderful addition to my personal library. I hope I win. Good luck to everyone else as well.
