As a biology major I would love this book. I have really developed a fascination with birds while in school and hope to go into conservation. I see the picture of a Carolina Parakeet, which we recently learned about in conservation biology. It is a shame I wont get to see one in the wild as a resident of South Carolina, but this book is the next best thing!

Currently working on a masters thesis of using art to relay environmental studies concepts and this book would work in perfectly with the research.

As a birder and bird photographer I spend a lot of time watching the birds of North America. I'd love to explore these same birds through Audubon's eyes.

Contest Submission
Gorgeous book. I love birds and Audubon's artistry. I started birding since November 2010 when I saw a Peregrine Falcon resting in a small tree in Milwaukee, WI. I admired his bravery and his striking beauty. As a true predator, he was unphased by my presence. He just sat regal on a low hanging branch, surveying the houses and buildings around him. I would very much love this book. Hope I win.
