My husband and I are so

My husband and I are so grateful for the resources you provide. We are amateur birders. And we enjoy the information you provide about bird identification and habitat. We are also in the process of birdscaping our yard. Over 10 years, we are reducing our lawn by 10% per year. We live in an urban area near a military airport, and in the last 3 years, we have already seen an increase from 3 bird species to 22!

Birds fascinate me and I love watching them and learning all I can about all the different varieties. We've provided so many bluebird houses and now that we've learned the little Brown Headed Nuthatches are declining in the east, we've built and put out 4 houses for them this year.

This year I will become a fully-fledged Florida Master Naturalist, and two-thirds of my training is from Audubon's Corkscrew Sanctuary. My instructor is phenomenal - travels for birding and always astounds me with her knowledge. If I win, this would make a wonderful Gift for Teacher upon graduation in November.
