My son absolutely loves nature and biology, and especially birds. He recently read a book about the life of Audubon and wants to know more. He has been observing birds since his days of recess in preschool, where instead of playing he would stand still and look for the woodpecker he could hear every day. What a beautiful print.

Beautiful illustrations of beautiful birds in a beautiful book! Sweet deal. I wonder how strongly Mr. Lear was influenced by John James Audubon.

As a neophyte owlologist I greatly admire this beautiful print of an eagle owl and the Lear volume. I hope to see it in person!
