If you forget your binoculars or field guide, the center  has ‘eco-kits’ you can borrow for the day, which include Bushnell binoculars, a guide, notebook, pen, and compass.

Popular activities include hiking and walking, biking, rollerblading, birding, butterfly and dragonfly watching, geocaching, orienteering, painting and photography, and other educational programs. Before visiting, check the website calendar for information on special events.

Hours: Seasonal. Summer hours are 8:30am – 6:00pm. Closed on Wednesdays.
Bike rentals are available from 9am – 4pm Thursday through Tuesday.
Admission: Free!
Directions: Duke Farms is located at 1112 Duke Parkway West in Hillsborough, NJ. Detailed directions are available on the website.
Note: No pets, swimming, camping, or smoking.
Don’t forget: Hat or sunglasses, insect and tick repellant, and a water bottle. There are a few restrooms throughout the park, but be sure to bring a water bottle and fill it at the visitor’s center before you head out.
