Nest Cam Spotlight: They’re Baaaack! Iowa’s Celebrity Eagles at the Nest

Iowa's avian version of Brangelina is back: the Decorah eagle duo. The birds have started off the 2012 nesting season, laying their first egg on February 17th and the second just yesterday. Thanks to the Raptor Resource Project's nest cam, you can see the drama play out. 

A pair since the winter of 2007-2008, the eagles raised three babies last year. They saw them off in June, when the younsters fledged (see eaglet #3 say sayonara below). Is there a third eaglet in store for this season? Only the camera will tell.
