Surf’s Up

The Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary’s historic Lyford House affords panoramic views of San Francisco and the Bay Bridge. Photo by Brown Cannon III.

California's coast is a treasure. Photographer (and California resident) Brown Cannon III knows this well and has spent ample time capturing it on film. Audubon recently featured Cannon’s work in “Bay Watch,” by Jane Braxton Little, about ambitious efforts to restore one particularly important biological trove—San Francisco Bay. The Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary figured prominently into the story, so it seems fitting that it will co-host an exhibit on Brown’s photography and surf art.

So, if you’re planning on being in the Bay area tomorrow, RSVP today to see what kind of surf is up on the walls of Audubon.
