This looks like a great book

This looks like a great book to use when mentoring young artists. Once I was helping neighboring twin boys to learn to draw birds for a school project. I demonstrated shapes and relationships as I sketched examples. One of the twins reached over and, picking up my drawing, said "I'll take that one." To which of course I replied, "Oh no...you can't turn in MY bird... now you know how to draw your own." They still call me "Bird Lady".

Yay! I love birdies!!

I would love to have 'The Laws Guide to Drawing Birds,' by John Muir Laws, to better teach me the art, as well as science, of capturing every aspect of the beauty and grace of birds, as I learn from them and draw what I learn.

Learning the art of drawing the birds will add another dimension to birding. One way or another I look forward to having a copy of this book.

I have been birding since I was young and now I am old but still loving it. When my grown cousin lived with my husband and I for 2 years she enjoyed my bird feeders and the birds and now she does it in her own yard and now she has started her daughter and her family doing the same. It is exciting to know that I had a small hand in that. Thank you for making this available and sharing your knowledge.
