We have a very talented 12

We have a very talented 12 yr. old granddaughter who is quite a painter and drawer! I am always searching for new instruction books for her to encourage this talent and she is so appreciative. She is very much into the animal kingdom and does not have a book on birds. A wonderful way to introduce her to the magical land of birding!

My grandsons, aged 3 and 5,

My grandsons, aged 3 and 5, are avid birders and can distinguish quite a few birds by sight and song. I would love to learn to draw those birds with them and for them.

I'm not much of an "artist"

I'm not much of an "artist" but enjoy trying to draw & paint birds, purely for my own pleasure. It seems whenever I am out in nature (whether backyard or forest) and there are birds around, I am at peace...and this feeling flows over to the times when I am just painting birds.
