I also have (rather) recently

I also have (rather) recently become addicted to drawing birds (see Kaarin Holmberg on www.printmakers-nyc.com). To me they symbolize the spirit of a person, I don't know why, maybe to give me an excuse to draw them? It's all very intuitive. I had a rescued pigeon who lived with me for ten years, perhaps she became my spirit. Anyway, this book looks wonderful. I shall have to buy it, if I don't win a copy. Thank you.

Since my retirement, I have

Since my retirement, I have combined three favorite passtimes:Travel, birding, and watercolor painting. Locally, I have feeders near a creek with tall trees that attracts various species. When travelling the world I bird whenever possible. I document my sightings with a note in my pocket guide, and then create bird images in watercolor. I ever strive to improve my drawing and painting, and I believe The Laws Guide to Drawing birds should aid me in this. Thank you for the opportunity to compete for a copy. Gene Romig
