Paul Bannick

Paul is an international award-winning photographer whose first book, The Owl and the Woodpecker (2008), remains one of the best-selling bird books in North America. Paul’s work has been featured by NPR, The New York Times, NBC Evening News, and in hundreds of magazines and books, including bird guides by Audubon, Smithsonian, and the National Wildlife Federation, as well as several traveling exhibits touring North America, two of them based on The Owl and the Woodpecker. He is a celebrated keynote presenter for bird, wildlife, and conservation festivals and conventions across North America, including National Audubon’s 2013 convention.
